this has to be about lion - I don't remember exactly how the seats are laid out, but if there was an odd number of people (eg, Kinzo at the head, then Krauss, Natsuhi and Jess) and Rosa and Maria, then Rosa and Maria, if at the bottom of prio, would be able to sit next to eachother because it would be uneven on either side.

If Lion was added to the main family, then the layout would be 1 at the head, 2 on either side of the table. Maria and Rosa would then have to be sitting opposite eachother in order to keep the sides equal.

I may be misinterpreting this, but this suggests that Maria doesn't remember Lion existing/Lion doesn't exist.
